I sincerely try to keep my rates very reasonable and remain flexible in working with schools to ensure my visits are a win/win situation.
My standard fee for one presentation is $100, and I charge $50 for each additional presentation on the same day at the same location. However, when you schedule a visit with me, I will send you a flyer to send home with your students announcing my upcoming visit and allowing the student to pre-order an autographed book at a significant discount. (click here to see a sample) If at least twenty books are ordered, I will waive my fee!
I have found this system to be very popular, as it allows for me to visit schools without affecting a teacher's budget, and the students get a signed book for significantly less than the retail price!
